the challenge
Mahiki Racing required a high-performance vehicle livery solution capable of withstanding the demands of competitive motorsport. The graphics needed to endure high-speed track use, debris impact, and repeated cleaning cycles, while maintaining a flawless finish across three vehicles with complex bodywork. The project also had to align with a tight race schedule, including events at Silverstone Circuit and other UK circuits, requiring rapid turnaround without compromising quality or performance.
the process
SPECIFICATION & PLANNING:
Each vehicle was fully surveyed to assess bodywork contours and define precise material requirements. High-grade cast vinyl and protective laminates were specified to ensure durability, aerodynamic conformity, and resistance to fuel, UV exposure, and abrasion.
PRODUCTION:
All graphics were digitally printed and precision-cut to exact vehicle templates. The selected material combination ensured consistent colour accuracy and finish, even under demanding race conditions.
INSTALLATION:
A coordinated installation was completed across all three vehicles within a 72-hour timeframe. The process focused on precision alignment and seamless application, with careful attention to panel edges, curves, and aerodynamic surfaces.
the end product
All three vehicles were delivered on schedule and entered the GT4 race season with fully applied, high-performance liveries. The graphics maintained their visual impact and structural integrity throughout track days and competitive events, including at Silverstone Circuit. The livery performed to specification, with no lifting, fading, or damage reported during the season—demonstrating durability in high-performance racing environments.
